Comprehensive 3 week course!
Are you scared or intimidated by your machine? Do you need a refresher?
In this comprehensive 6-week course, you will learn everything to get comfortable on your machine!
If you have a machine, took classes in school, but haven’t had much time to sew since then,
this is the class for you! Or if you have just gotten a new machine, but need the skills to make you a
competent sewist, sign up now! Over six weeks, you will become familiar with your machine; from
knowing the parts of your machine, threading, winding a bobbin, learning the different stitches your
machine makes and when and how to use them, all about needles, feet, and attachments to piping,
zippers, hemming, topstitching, and straight or grid quilting.

Beginning Machine Embroidery!

Whether you are new to machine embroidery or just in need of a refresher,
this class is the place to start. In this class you will learn all the steps
and tips you need to know to stitch designs that are fun and look professional.
In each lesson you will learn one of the six aspects of machine embroidery.
Together with what you learn in this class, your machine embroidery will start
and improve as you learn to make a difference in your embroidered projects.
You will learn about your machine, master the myriad of stabilizers out there,
learn about designs, how to hoop successfully, what materials and tools you need,
work through design elements, color selection, combining and rotating designs.
You will finish like a pro and will make beautiful projects!

Weighted Pincushion/Scrap Bag/Storage Caddy

It has space to store pins and a wool felt strip for your needles.
The hanging pocket is a perfect place for storing easily-misplaced tools like
seam rippers, embroidery scissors and thread snips, and the detachable scrap bag
helps keep stray threads and clippings from littering your workspace.
Because the pincushion is weighted with play sand,
