Tools and supplies needed:
sewing Machine
thread
machine needles microtex sharp size 12
Parchment paper or Teflon Ironing Sheets
steam iron
scissors both large and small
Rotary cutter and ruler
Marking pen
pins and clips
Hand sewing needles
Optional:
2" buttons for embellishments
Plastic Template for corner template
Fabric Needed:
outside fabric for sides and rim 1/2 yard
Lining fabric for sides and rim 1/2 yard
Coordinating fabric binding for the top and bottom 1 1/4 yard
Interfacing: (we have)
Pellon - Peltex 72F double sided fusible Ultra firm srabilizer 20" wide need 1/2 yard
Pellon - FF79F2 flex foam 2 sided fusible interfacing 20" wide need 1 yard
What an amazing Easter basket to give your family or friends. Better yet, fill it with goodies!!! This class will instruct you on sewing out the small one. You will learn the tricks and techniques so you can apply it to creating the medium/large fabric boxes at a later time. This is an all day class with a lunch break.
These boxes are great to store blankets or pillows in a spare guest room. They can also hold your dogs toys or your child's toys. Possibilities are endless!
